CONTEST! Become a Guest Designer for Girls & Dolls

Hi guys,

Have you always wanted to design your own clothes, or better yet, create something adorable for your stylish American Girl® doll? Girls & Dolls (Check them out here and here) or better know as lorilizgirlsanddolls on Etsy and me are having a little giveawaw/competition. Girls & Dolls are on the hunt for a great new design concept. They are looking for a fresh, young perspective on what girls want to dress their dolls in. Enter now to become their next guest designer! 

Contest Info:
This contest is about, YOU being able to design your very own design of a clothing item for your doll, and her actually being able to wear it! 
Contest Rules:
IMPORTANT - To enter, you must have permission from your parents.

• 1. Submit your favourite design concept to Girls & Dolls. This should be in the form of a rough sketch including any written/typed details. Make sure to include the fabric color and/or print and type you have in mind (i.e. cotton knit, jersey knit, rayon, denim, etc.). Specific fabric swatches are a plus*. Design concept can only be one piece, not an entire outfit. This includes a top, pants, shorts, skirt, or dress (please browse our shop to get a feel for our style) (Tip: Search for fabric selections at fabric.com or girlcharlie.com).

• 2. Email your complete concept/design to loren@loriliz.com, or send a convo on Etsy: lorilizgirlsanddolls.etsy.com (You will have to send your address, so make sure you have parent permission!) 

• 3. Once all entries are received, Girls & Dolls + Angie will select a winning design to create.

• 4. Girls & Dolls will contact the winner to provide any feedback and gather all details prior to creating the piece. Keep in mind, they may not be able to create your design exactly as you intended, but they will their best.

• 5. They will then produce the piece within 1-2 weeks and send you a sample to keep. 

• 6. Girls & Dolls will list the piece in our Etsy shop to sell. We will also post a picture on Instagram, Facebook and Pinterest announcing the winner as our Guest Designer. 

This competition will be closed on May 1st, 2015. 

Winner is free to post their piece of clothing on any social media to promote their piece, so long as they tag/mention Girls & Dolls (@girls_and_dolls).
